Employment, Technology and Development

A study prepared for the International Labour Office within the framework of the World Employment Programme. Focusing on the inter-relationship between institutions, technology, and employment, the author investigates the institutional factors which affect policy-making: modes of production, patterns of ownership, and systems of employment.
