Girls, Power and International Development

Drawing on interviews with Girl Up members globally, this book challenges criticisms of the campaign by demonstrating how girls have reflected critically on the Girl Up discourse, rejected its individualistic vision of girls' empowerment and interacted with their Northern/Southern counterparts in a spirit of mutual learning and respect.
