I Love Dogs

I Love Dogs is a treasure trove of the wisest, funniest, and most heart-warming comments ever uttered about our beloved canine friends. An astonishing array of writers, actors, athletes, and more have had all manner of things to say about our favourite animal-the dog. Here is page after page of poignant observation on the training of dogs, the dog fancy, the joy and wonder dogs bring to our lives, the particularities of breeds, and the loss we feel when a dog has passed away.

Each nugget of truth will tug at your heartstrings or set you laughing and nodding in recognition of those doggie deeds (and misdemeanours) familiar to any dog lover. Included in this classic collection are thoughts from such notable dog lovers as: Winston Churchill, T. S. Eliot, Robert Frost, Franz Kafka, Ann Landers, Don Marquis, Willie Morris, Beatrix Potter, Anna Quindlen, James Thurber, Evelyn Waugh, E. B. White, and more.

I Love Dogs is the perfect companion for a quiet night in front of the fireplace, a day in the park, or a stroll on the beach. The perfect companion, that is, short of a dog.
